A couple of people asked me on Instagram to talk about incorporating the plant based lifestyle into the desi way of eating. We desis have amazing food, amazing local cuisines and unique recipes! They taste absolutely delicious and are loaded with flavor – however, to say they are healthy would be a bit of an exaggeration! And living on these foods may not be the healthiest way of eating. Hence, I have a few tips for all my fellow desis, on how to incorporate this way of eating into your traditional desi life- whether you are ready to go all in or take baby steps.
